What is a Montana Adventure?

Helping you feel safe is my number 1 Priority!

My goal is to help you and your horse safely accomplish the skills and confidence in the areas in which you feel you need to improve.

You will become aware of the following which I call foundation:

  • Play
  • Equipment
  • Saddle Fitting
  • Grooming
  • Body Work on our horses
  • Riding Awareness

Every day our horse grow and their bodies go though changes therefore I believe that it is important for our safety to check the foundation list. Keeping our horses Happy is what keeps us safe!

Your Montana Adventure!

Come ride with Cookie Grimes - Learn about
understanding horses naturally!

Interested in riding with Cookie Grimes? Here’s an opportunity to spend time absorbing Foundation and Riding Awareness at the Grimes’ ranch. You’ll be surprised at how quickly you’ll move along with your horse. There may be times when you’ll have to laugh and play with your equine friend like you never have before! There's a covered round pen with music and lights, just in case we play late. An arena with jumps and ground poles, 40 acres with hills, ditches and ponds. We may have to ride our horses to town for an ice cream, and a stop at the Post Office to drop off a few post cards to friends. Or we can ride from the ranch to the Bitterroot Mountains for a walk in the woods. There are always lots of mushrooms and flowers to seek. We may even load the horses and trailer 20 minutes away for something totally different. Or, you may want to customize your visit!
